I'm Rachel St Clair, an illustration artist originally from Scotland and now based in Vancouver, BC.

My work is vibrant and chaotic, inspired by retro cartoon styles. I love creating characters and creatures to tell a visual story with an 'ugly cute' aesthetic and doodle patterns. My main goal with my art is to make people feel happy, inspired and maybe a little bit weirded out - the same way I felt watching Courage The Cowardly Dog as a kid.

I work mainly digitally, though I love sketching and doodling initial concepts in my trusty sketchbook.

I welcome work big and small. I can create across a broad spectrum of subjects. My personal interests include lifestyle, feminist topics, climate change and music.
